Easy Chicken Pesto Pasta with Lemon



This Easy Chicken Pesto Pasta with Lemon is a great dish because it has tender chicken, tasty basil pesto, and tangy lemon all mixed together in a creamy sauce. Ingredients:

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente

Drain and set aside

Season diced chicken breasts with salt and pepper

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat
