Spicy Mustard & Sweet Potato Turkey Burgers

These turkey burgers are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional beef burgers. The addition of sweet potatoes adds natural sweetness and moisture to the patties, while the spicy brown mustard gives them a flavorful kick. Perfect for a satisfying meal!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp spicy brown mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Lettuce and tomato slices for garnish

Instructions:

Put breadcrumbs, spicy brown mustard, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a large bowl

Add the ground turkey and mix them all together

Mix the ingredients together well until they are all evenly mixed in

Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty

Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat

Use a little oil to grease to keep things from sticking

The patties should be cooked on the grill for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done all the way through and have nice grill marks

Put the whole wheat burger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they get a little brown

Put lettuce and tomato slices on the bottom half of each bun, then place a turkey burger patty on top of them

On the top half of the buns, spread more spicy brown mustard

Then, put the buns on top of the sliders

You can enjoy your Spicy Mustard & Sweet Potato Turkey Burgers while they are still hot
